About the Event
Zoom over to the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre on Saturday the 23rd of May to celebrate World Bee Day in style!
Local game designers Jake and Ahmad will be hosting the launch of their new bee game; Bee The Buzz. Fly your bee onto plant cards – score the most points to win!
Bee The Buzz also teaches about local bee species and the plants/habitats they like, helping us better understand how we can support biodiversity in our community.
Now that we know how to help our bees… what’s next?
Build a Bee Hotel, of course!
ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED to build your very own bee or insect hotel. Learn how you can help our native bees, then build habitats for them to give them a home to move into in your garden!
