Welcome to Wildlife Wednesdays, where kids can have fun and enjoy nature-rich, STEM-based activities with an environmental focus after school.
20th May - World Bee Day
Buzz your way over to a special World Bee Day themed Wildlife Wednesdays!
For this Wildlife Wednesdays session we’ll become bzzy investigators, exploring the habitat around the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre for possible bee homes, and try our hands at designing a perfect home (using recycled crafts) for local bees and other invertebrates. We’ll also get a sneak peek at the new Bee The Buzz card game, launching a few days later on Saturday 23rd of May, at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre.
