Come Take Part - Donate your time and become a volunteer!
We have an amazing group of volunteers at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre and we are always looking for more!
Like most not-for-profits, volunteers are the backbone of our organisation and they also gain a lot from volunteering their time.
Our volunteers help us with a range of activities, from helping with activities at Family Nature Days, leading guided nature walks, looking after animals, helping with school excursions, office duties, maintenance, landcare and a whole range of other tasks! If you have an area of expertise you feel would be of benefit, we'd love to hear from you!
If you love nature, want to be a valued part of a caring community hub, have spare time on your hands and would like to 'give back', then we would love for you to attend this meet and greet, information and orientation session!
The session runs from 12.30pm - 2.30pm Saturday September 17, 2022.
