About the Event
Escape the rain and connect with nature in this sustainable eco-craft session!
Ditch the clingfilm and learn to make your own beeswax re-usable food wrap; brighten the gloomy days by making two of your own seed bombs to plant out; and create your own pressed leaf bookmark so you never lose your page again!
This workshop is all about sustainability so we will be re-using and re-purposing as many materials as possible.
Tickets to this workshop include entry to the Discovery Centre where you can meet our resident animals, learn about wetlands, dress up, read books and play games in the playroom, browse the gift shop and grab a hot cuppa and snack. What better way to pass a gloomy day!
Suitable for ages 7+
Please note this is not a drop off program, and all participants under 18yrs require adult supervision. Parents and carers are invited to make use of the on-site coffee window and free Wifi.
Adults who wish to make their own creations are most welcome but will be required to purchase a participant ticket to cover materials costs.
