About the Event
What better way to learn about reptiles than through hands-on experience!
In this 1hr workshop, the Perth Reptile Company will bring a variety of snakes (pythons), lizards and turtle to learn about, with discussions relating to their habitat/location, diet, identifying characteristics, role in the ecosystem, how their bodies function, as well as comparisons between species, plus snake identification and snake bite first aid.
They are even going to bring a Tigersnake (not to be handled!!) so we can discover more about the amazing creatures that reside at Herdsman Lake!
Although the workshop runs for 1hr, participants are welcome to stay and explore the animals in the Discovery Centre until 12 noon.
