About the Event

About: The Re-Cyc-Ology Project is a conservation and environmental education initiative inspired by the loss of tree-hollows, the urgent need to protect remaining wildlife habitat, and the growing amount of human waste entering our ecosystems. As part of this hands-on workshop, 10 families or groups will work together to construct a nest box using recycled materials. Each group will have the option of taking their nest box home to install themselves, or boxes can be donated to the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre and installed as part of a long-term monitoring program.

Date: Wednesday 14th July

Time: 9:00am - 3pm

Presenters: WA Gould League and The Re-Cyc-Ology Project/ iNSiGHT Ornithology
