About the Event
Join us at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre this school holidays for a fun and immersive nature adventure designed for young children aged 0 to 5 years, with older siblings welcome!
WHAT'S INCLUDED: Over a 90-minute session, early childhood educators Sarah and Temily will present a fully guided nature-based playgroup program that will include storytime and songs, a magical walk in nature, a collaborative art project, large-scale weaving, and open-ended sensory play activities.
Your playgroup ticket will also include full access to the Discovery Centre, which features live animal displays, interactive exhibits and two playroom areas.
WHAT TO BRING: Activities will take place outside as much as weather permits, so please dress snugly! It’s also a good idea to bring a raincoat, gumboots and spare warm clothes.
