About the Event
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Spend a relaxing and creative morning making nature crafts at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre this school holidays. Help your children to create a connection to their natural environment and nurture their artistic side at the same time. This low-cost, self-guided 'crafternoon' (but in the morning!) by the lake is just the thing to keep the boredom at bay! Stay for as little or as long as you like over the 90 minutes, with full access to explore the Discovery Centre included in the price.
There will be multiple nature craft stations set up in the function room, with staff guidance and printed instructions at each table.Â
Please note this is not a drop-off program and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. However, carers are welcome to craft, enjoy a picnic on the grounds, and make full use of the barista coffee window and free Wifi.
Cost: $10 per participant (parents and carers are free of charge) including access to Discovery Centre included.
Ages: Best suited for children aged 5-15 years, but all are welcome.
What To Bring: We recommend bringing a water bottle and wearing covered shoes for your visit.Â
