About the Event
Spend a relaxing and creative afternoon making nature crafts at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre this school holidays. Nurture within your children a connection to the natural environment and a desire to create. This low-cost, self-guided 'crafternoon' by the lake is just the thing to keep the boredom at bay! Stay for as little or as long as you like over the two hours.
There will be multiple nature craft stations set up around the centre, with staff guidance and printed instructions at each table. Among other creations, children can make a dream catcher, mobile, nature weaving, magic wand, peppermint leaf crown, threaded leaf necklace and decorated story stone or gumnut.
This workshop will take place on Wednesday 16th July from 2:00-3:30pm at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre, on the corner of Flynn and Selby Street, Wembley.

Ticket enables one child participant entry to the Discovery Centre and self-guided craft activities. Parents and carers are free of charge.
