About the Event
Come and get delightfully dirty at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre with this Messy Sensory Adventure!
We have a morning of sensory fun lined up, including water play, bubble play, muddy dinosaur swamps, oobleck, soapy slime, potions, and even some simple playdough!
Messy, sensory play has been found to have a positive effect on children’s language development, social and emotional learning, cognitive development, fine motor skills, creativity and resilience….and it is a chance to have a lot of fun!
Best Suited For: Children aged 3yrs to 7yrs, and adult participation is encouraged.
What to Bring: A note for both adults and children: please dress for mess. We encourage you to also bring a hat, water bottle, a packed morning tea, change of clothes and a towel.
Please Note - This is NOT a drop off program and all children under 18yrs require adult supervision at all times.
