About the Event
As the sun sets and the wetlands come alive with a chorus of croaks, chirps and trills, Learn how to identify the local frog species, listen to a symphony of frog calls, and become a citizen scientist with the FrogID app. Then grab your torch and join us for a twilight frog frolic around the lake!
This evening event is perfect for curious adults, families and nature lovers, and will leave you listening to every croak a little differently…
Led by experienced guide and ecologist, Kelly Hopkinson @kellyoutandabout , you’ll explore the sounds and secrets of the night while learning how to identify species and contribute to valuable conservation data.
Then we’ll finish the evening with a hop back to the Discovery Centre, where a frog-themed treat table awaits—complete with froggy-inspired sweets and snacks to conclude your amphibian adventures!
