A morning filled with whimsy and wonder at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre, where enchantment meets nature in the heart of our wetland and paperbark forest...
This school holidays families are invited to discover a spellbinding trail through the paperbark forest boardwalk and grassy surrounds, where tiny fairy doors appear, as if by magic!
Behind each fairy door lives a fairy with a very special mission - from protecting turtles to rewilding the earth, these magical beings are the guardians of the wetlands. Learn from their eco-wisdom and how, you too, can be a nature hero.
Once your fairy quest is complete, flutter back to the Discovery Centre where the magic continues with:
Wand-making - craft your own nature wand to channel forest magic
Potion Creation - Mix sparkly, mystical ingredients to brew your own eco-friendly spells
