About the Event
This holidays, the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre is lucky to be joined by Dean Arthurell of Carnaby’s Crusaders, who is bringing some black cockatoos for a special wildlife visit and presentation!
Learn more about these beautiful yet critically endangered birds, find out what you can do to save their habitat and what native plant species you can incorporate in your garden to support cockatoos, then experience a close-up encounter and photo opportunity!
WHAT TO BRING: Hat, water-bottle, covered shoes, optional morning tea.
CAPACITY & SUPERVISION: 35 participants maximum, with accompanying parents and carers free-of-charge (no ticket required). Sibling discount applies. Please note that this is not a drop-off program and a responsible adult must stay on the grounds.
