About the Event
PLEASE NOTE: This session will be held on the second and not first Saturday of the month to avoid the Easter long weekend.
Thanks to funding through the Better Beginnings Family Literacy Community Grants Program, administered by the State Library of Western Australia, the WA Gould League is excited to launch a new early literacy program called Bookworms.
The aim is to help local families feel confident and supported in sharing books and stories with their young children (aged 0 to 5 years) while also celebrating Western Australian authors.
Bookworms will be held at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre from 10:00-11:30am on the first Saturday of each month, supported by WAGL playgroup facilitators Chantelle, Leigh & Sarah.
