About the Event
Get excited for an up-close and personal animal encounter! The team from WA Wildlife (formerly Native ARC) are coming for a visit and they are bringing some native animal friends with them! The session will include a one-hour educational session with a variety of Australian mammals and birds.
Children are then invited to don their HLDC mini scrubs and take part in a Wildlife Rescue roleplay clinic, complete with soft native animals and all the tools a vet would need. Stay on for a self-guided tour of the Discovery Centre, where you can get up close to our own native animal enclosures!
This family-friendly event will run from 10am to 11.30am on Tuesday 30th September, at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre (Cnr Flynn & Selby Streets, Wembley).
