About the Event
DETAILS: Join us as we look more closely at the incredible world of plants with Laura Skates (Botanist and Carnivorous plant expert) and make & decorate your own plant terrarium to take home!
Learn about some important native plants around Herdsman Lake, go on a guided nature walk and get stuck into hands-on activities with plants.
WHAT TO BRING: Water-bottle, hat, and enclosed shoes.
AGES: Most suited for children aged 4 - 10 years, but all welcome.
DURATION: The session runs for 2 hours, however participants are able to enjoy the Discovery Centre and surrounds for the day or enjoy a picnic on the grass afterwards.
PRICE: Tickets are $30 per participant (Parents/Carers Free). Friends of the WA Gould League receive a 15% discount on all Holiday Adventures.
Please note that this is NOT a drop-off programme, and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Parents and carers are welcome to make use of the coffee window, lakeside seating & free Wi-fi.
