About the Event
For decades, the WA Gould League has flourished through the visionary contributions of educators, artists, and scientists who see the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre not just as a location for learning, but as a commitment to the protection of our local biodiversity and community.
This FREE special event will honour those whose philanthropy and passion have built the foundation of our programs. From displays featuring historic sketches, to scientific research and memorabilia from our members, we will be celebrating every chapter of our story.
This afternoon will also mark the grand opening of our 'Heart of Gould' Art Exhibition, showcasing competition entries from talented local artists, amongst three categories; Birds, Flora & Fauna and Landscapes, thanks to our generous event sponsors at Jacksons & Zanthorrea Nursery. The exhibition will highlight our community's continuing talent and connection to nature.
