About the Event
We invite all seniors to take part in an inclusive, relaxing and creative morning on Tuesday 11th November at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre, as part of WA Seniors Week 2025.
Join artist Kim Lapere for a 90-minute guided art session, featuring an introduction to nature journaling within a peaceful wetland setting. Participants can also explore additional creative activities such as watercolour painting and simple clay work, including leaf impressions and pinch pots.
All materials are provided, and no prior art experience is needed. This one-off event will help to promote wellbeing, creativity, and inclusion, and aims to increase accessibility to social and art-based programs for seniors across the wider Perth community.
Round off your morning with some good conversation, a cup of tea or coffee, and an included light brunch overlooking beautiful Herdsman Lake.
