Nature Playgroup Term 1 Pass

Our playgroup program is designed to allow children (aged 2 to 5 years) to connect with their surrounding environment through a variety of nature-based activities, facilitated by educators Leigh and Sarah. Typical playgroup sessions include a storytime under the trees, a nature walk, art and craft activities, science-based enquiries and open-ended indoor play in our Discovery Centre and its dedicated early-learning space. The early-learning room contains a variety of books, puzzles, costumes, puppets and other resources for your child to enjoy. Sessions will run for approximately 90 minutes to optimise your child's interest and energy levels. 

Our barista coffee window Twitchers will be open for coffees and tasty treats each playgroup morning. 

Please dress for mess! We will be exploring nature and making nature crafts so we encourage children to wear clothes that can afford to get a little wet dirty. Remember to bring a hat, water bottle and covered shoes or gumboots. You can also bring a packed morning tea for a picnic on the lawn. 

Important to note: As the centre is set in a wetland area, a parent or carer must be present at all times during the session. Supervision is key to providing your child with a safe and fun learning environment!
