About the Event
Nature journaling is a tool to help you connect with your environment, a place to keep memories, thoughts and questions to help you grow as a naturalist.
Under the guidance of artist and scientist Kim Lapere, you will learn how to integrate your curiosity and knowledge of the natural world onto the pages of your own journal. Discover how easy it can be to record your observations and experiences even if you're not an artist. Â
In this workshop you will learn the basic prompts to get you started nature journaling and then practice with some exercises to hone your observation skills.Â
TICKETS: $25 each, with a 15% discount for Friends of the WA Gould League and WA Naturalists' Club.

AGES: Best suited for children aged 8 and above, but all welcome (adult supervision required).Â
WHAT TO BRING: Bring a sketchbook or journal and any drawing materials you would like to use, however some will also be provided. Please wear enclosed shoes and sun protection, and bring a waterbottle.Â
