About the Event
About: This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and the world of birdwatching and meet like-minded people in the local community.
Date: Third Sunday of the month  (please continue to check website for specific dates)
Time: 7.30-8.30am
Presenters: Birdlife Australia
Cost: $10 per person, and free for Birdlife Australia members.
What’s included: Presentation on Herdsman Lake birdlife, bird watching techniques and how to use binoculars effectively. Guided birdwalk around the picturesque Herdsman Lake where you are guaranteed to see a variety of birdlife. Free instant tea and coffee, with barista coffee is available to purchase from our coffee window Twitchers. Binoculars can be provided for participants who don’t own a pair.Â
What to bring: Water bottle, hat, suitable clothing for weather conditions (recommended not to wear anything bright), binoculars or spotting scope if you have one.
