Our Monday playgroup program is designed to allow children aged 18 months to 5 years to make meaningful connections to nature and learn about animals and the environment, while being immersed in a beautiful wetland area and having lots of fun! Teachers Sarah, Temily, Leigh & Chantelle will deliver fully-guided sessions that explore a different theme each week through a combination of nature-based activities.
A typical session might include storytelling, puppets, singalongs, guided nature walks, art and craft activities, science enquiries, sensory experiences and open-ended indoor play in our dedicated early-learning space. The early-learning room contains a variety of books, puzzles, costumes, puppets and other resources for your child to enjoy, and the Discovery Centre has interactive features and animal enclosures to explore.
Sessions will run for approximately 90 minutes to optimise your child's engagement and energy levels, however sessions can be extended…
