About the Event
We all love playing games, but how do we put one together? Jake is a Perth Game Developer keen on making games and using them to make a difference in our community, especially with his latest game; Bin Off – competitive bin sorting with an educational twist!
Learn how to go from a consumer of games to a producer in this guided game design workshop. Explore the process from initial concept to final delivery, at whatever pace you choose. Feel free to come along with your own game idea, or with an open mind to start something completely new!
What to Bring: An idea of your own, or an open mind! And one of your favourite board/card games!
Although the session is 3 hours, participants are able to enjoy the Discovery Centre, coffee window and surrounds for the day, or enjoy a picnic on the grass afterwards.
Tickets $30 per participant (Parents/Carers Free). Friends of the WA Gould League receive a 15% discount on all Holiday Adventures. Please login to the website to recieve your discount when purchasing tickets.
Please note that this is NOT a drop-off programme, and all children (under 16) must be accompanied by a responsible adult (Free WiFi is available on the verandah, along with Barista beverages & snacks for purchase from the coffee window)!
Event organisers stress that all current COVID requirements will be adhered to at the time, with masks, proof of vaccination, check-ins, sanitization and enhanced cleaning implemented. Physical distancing and ventilation will also be optimized in line with current government requirements.
