About the Event
The Making Connections Playgroup is an opportunity for families to create playful experiences, make connections, learn and grow. Every session is a little different and offers a chance to explore unique playthings, observe the natural environment, connect with stories and make sense of the world.
The morning includes nature walks, craft, sensory, skill based and pretend play. There are a variety of open-ended activities to suit little hands and curious minds, as well as ideas to spark further questioning and exploration. All playthings are created with natural, recycled or everyday materials and will inspire play you can continue at home…
Story based themes focus on learning about the natural world, encourage imagination and help develop social and emotional understanding.
