Making Connections Playgroup (Monday)

The Making Connections Playgroups have been designed and are facilitated by Danielle, founder of PLAY to Be. 

We believe… Food Grows Bodies, PLAY GROWS MINDS.

We aim to support families to maximise the potential of early years play by creating an environment where you and your child can explore sensory, skill-based and open-ended play experiences that will inspire learning, encourage engagement, and stimulate connections. We do this by offering a variety of hands-on activities made using natural, recycled or everyday materials.

Each session will be a little different and each child’s experience will be unique to them, defined by their interests and abilities. All sessions will offer a story and theme or concept to explore, a variety of activities to suit little hands and growing minds, opportunities to be creative, imaginative, skilled, active and playful.

Sessions may be inside the Discovery Centre or outside on the grass (or a combination) and may include play with water, ice, paint or mud so please dress appropriately and pack a spare set of clothes. Please ensure you are wearing closed in shoes, bring a hat, water bottle and morning tea.

Our barista coffee window Twitchers will be open for coffees and tasty treats each playgroup morning.

Important to note: As the centre is set in a wetland area, a parent or carer must be present at all times during the session. Supervision is key to providing your child with a safe and fun learning environment!
