This school holidays gain special access to the Gould League’s unique collection of Fossils and Skulls and practice your drawing and observational skills in this nature journaling workshop!
Can you identify what species your skull or fossil originates from through careful observation? Has your animal gone extinct.. What do they eat.. Where do they live.. How do they move..
Learn all about skulls & fossils and the information we can get from studying them up close!
In this workshops kids will act as artists and ecologists, using their imagination and improving their drawing skills by practicing different techniques, with gentle guidance from our in house artist, Kim Lapere. The workshop is suitable for kids aged 8+ and will run for 2 hours inside our indoor function room at the centre.
All materials will be provided, but if your kid has some favourites to bring along, they are more than welcome.
