About the Event
Ho ho ho! Join us for a festive and fun afternoon of Christmas crafts by the lake, at our last Family Nature Day of 2025!
Let nature inspire you to create a Christmas wreath or ornament, make a handmade craft for a special someone, join in with some early childhood play on the lawns (including Santa’s workshop!) and browse through our special gift market… perfect for last-minute buys and teacher gifts.
This fun family event also includes all the usual favourites, including aquatic scooping, guided nature walks, and hands-on nature activities and crafts. Tour the centre and meet our animals, experience a keeper talk and feeding, explore the interactive exhibits, and create an inviting picnic on the lawns by grabbing a barista coffee, iced chocolate, juice box or sweet donut treat from our coffee window, Twitchers.
