About the Event
Embrace the weekend with a relaxing afternoon in the company of family and friends, surrounded by the beauty of Herdsman Lake!
Join us this month to get stuck into eco crafts, such as creating fossils from our own coffee clay, making seed paper from recycled paper that you can gift then plant and more! The usual favourites will be back too, like aquatic net scooping for critters, guided bird walks, keeper talks and animal feeding.
You can also explore the centre and get up close to our wildlife enclosures, learn from the interactive exhibits, browse the gift shop, grab a barista coffee, hot chocolate or cookie from our coffee window, Twitchers.
COST: $10 per individual, $30 per family (or group of 5) and free for ‘Friends of the WA Gould League’.
Bookings are essential. All proceeds of the Family Nature Day go towards ongoing nature education & community initiatives.
