About the Event
Embrace the weekend with a relaxing afternoon in the company of family and friends, surrounded by the beauty of Herdsman Lake!
Immerse yourself in fun, nature-based activities, including aquatic net scooping for critters and microscopes, guided nature walks, keeper talks and animal feeding, and hands-on nature activities and crafts.
You can also explore the centre and get up close to our wildlife enclosures, test the interactive exhibits, browse the gift shop, and grab a barista coffee, hot chocolate, or cookie from our coffee window Twitchers.
COST: $10 per individual, $30 per family (or group of 5) and free for ‘Friends of the WA Gould League’.
Bookings are essential. All proceeds of the Family Nature Day go towards ongoing nature education & community initiatives.
