About the Event
Spend a relaxing afternoon with family and friends, surrounded by the beauty of Noogenboro (Herdsman Lake).
Let’s learn all about indigenous culture and its ties to wetlands and local wildlife! This fun family event includes aquatic net scooping from the lake and microscope analysis, guided nature walks, crafts and some special NAIDOC Week activities.
Tour the centre and meet our animals, experience a keeper talk and feeding, explore the interactive exhibits, play in the early learning rooms, browse the gift shop, and grab a barista coffee, hot chocolate or sweet treat from our coffee window Twitchers. You can even bring a rug and picnic on the shady lawns!
All proceeds go towards envionmental programs for the whole community.
