Forget European honey bees - did you know that Australia has over 2000 species of native bees?
Find out about these vital pollinators and how we can protect, preserve and plant for them.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Fascinating presentation on native bees from guest presenter Dr Kit Prendergast , plus ‘Q & A’ session (30 minutes)
Venture out on a guided walk to look at local flora, in order to spot native bees (30 - 45 mins)
Buzz back to the Discovery Centre to make your very own bee hotel! (30-45 min)
