About the Event
A 'cultural sound healing session' is a relaxing meditational experience set to instruments from around the world, and the vibrations from those instruments work to tune and realign the body.
This is the last sound healing session in a series of six, welcoming in each of the six Noongar seasons – acknowledging and appreciating connection to country and our place within nature. This event will take place inside the Discovery Centre in a large airconditoned space.
In this session we welcome in the season of Bunuru, the hottest time of the year with little to no rain. Hot easterly winds continue with a cooling sea breeze most afternoons if you're close to the coast. Therefore, traditionally this was, and still is, a great time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries.
