About the Event

A 'cultural sound healing session' is a relaxing meditational experience set to instruments from around the world, and the vibrations from those instruments work to tune and realign the body.

This is the last sound healing session in a series of six, welcoming in each of the six Noongar seasons – acknowledging and appreciating connection to country and our place within nature. This event will take place inside the Discovery Centre in a large airconditoned space.

In this session we welcome in the season of Bunuru, the hottest time of the year with little to no rain. Hot easterly winds continue with a cooling sea breeze most afternoons if you're close to the coast. Therefore, traditionally this was, and still is, a great time for living and fishing by the coast, rivers and estuaries. Bunuru is also a time of the white flowers with lots of white flowering gums in full bloom, including Jarrah, Marri and Ghost Gums.

Olman and Julian aim to transport participants into a peaceful space, through a combination of Didgeridoo, Tibetan bowls, Crystal bowls, Harp and other sound healing instruments, affirming that each part of your body resonate at different frequencies. This experience is designed to cleanse and tune the body to its optimal resonance.

The pair will guide guests into deep states of relaxation and connection before gently awakening them to the beauty and tranquility of the stunning surroundings. Reflect on your experience at the end of the session with Bunuru Six Seasons native tea and grazing platters.

Tickets are $90 per person, with a maximum of 20 participants. As a special way of saying thank you to our supporters, Friends of the WA Gould League can receive 15% off the ticketed price by signing into their membership at the website's main menu or checkout.
