About the Event
Have you ever looked at a bird and wondered more about how it lives?
In this interactive workshop we'll use games and activities to investigate bird anatomy (specifically beaks & feet), and how it gives us hints on where the bird lives, what it may eat, and how it catches its prey.
Then we'll take a guided walk spotting local birdlife, using our newly aquired knowledge to piece the clues together to learn more about bird biology.
*Please note - bird skull specimens will be used in this workshop which some younger children may find confronting. Please ensure the suitability of this workshop prior to booking.
*This workshop includes an activity using lollies - please advise us if you do not want your child to consume the lolly!!
PLEASE WEAR ENCLOSED SHOES AND BRING A HAT AND SUNSCREEN.
