About the Event
The team from WA Wildlife (formerly Native Ark) are coming for a visit and they are bringing some native animal friends with them! This session will include a one-hour educational session with a range of Australian mammals and birds.
The second half of the workshop is a great new activity presented by the WA Gould League, where kids can roleplay their very own Wildlife Rescue Clinic! Children can put on scrubs or lab coat (featuring our very own logo), and tend to a range of animals, (the pretend, soft kind), by filling out a medial chart, checking temperatures and vitals, examining X-Rays, administering pretend medicines or performing a surgery, and feed the animals their special diet.
This family-friendly event will run from 10am to 12pm on Saturday the 8th of October, at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre (Cnr Flynn & Selby Streets, Wembley).
