This is a wonderful opportunity to create artwork for a major celebration of biodiversity and indigenous cultures in the heart of Perth. This year, we can support by transforming 2L milk bottles into nests, seeds and eggs. Start collecting 2L milk bottles now and join us for our free workshops!

How to get involved?Â
Workshops at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre
Join us for free workshops to construct artwork for Perth Festival's free EverNow event (in Kings Park), Boorna Waanginy - The Trees Speak! Bring along washed 2L plastic milk bottles to transform into nests, seeds and eggs. Everyone is welcome, we will show you how to use a special cutting tool to create one of three designs. This is a free event, please get a ticket so we know how many people to expect. Come along to Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak and see your art on display from 6 – 9 October
Can't make it to a workshop?
You don’t have to attend a workshop to participate! Every artwork counts, so we’d love creative families and individuals of any age to get involved too. You can deliver your finished artworks to the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre for the event organisers (before 22 September) to collect.
Follow the steps below:

- Start saving your 2L milk or juice bottles
- Use the following resources to learn how to make your artwork:

- Make your artwork by 18 September
- Deliver your artworks to the EverNow team by 22 September
- Come along to Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak and see your art on display from 6 – 9 October
Schools
Classes can be involved in any, or all, of the following:
- Students engage in classroom activities relating to biodiversity and share their work via social media tagging @evernow_wa.
