Fundraising Concert 2nd December

November 23, 2018

The WA Classical Guitar Society has joined the chorus of supporters calling on the State Government to reinstate funding to allow the Western Australian Gould League’s Herdsman Lake Wildlife Centre to continue its environmental science education programs.  The Society’s popular orchestra will hold a fundraising Christmas Concert at the Wildlife Centre to assist the campaign on Sunday, 2 December from 3- 5pm.

Orchestra director, Jane Darcey, said the guitarists were passionate environmental advocates, who appreciated the value of the centre to the Perth community.

Ms Darcey called on music and nature lovers to attend the event and support the cause, while enjoying an afternoon of beautiful music in a unique coastal Lakeland setting.

The event will also feature a Welcome to Country by Olman Walley from the Boorloo Cultural Experience, featuring the didgeridoo.

Tickets are $25 adults and $15 seniors, children under five are admitted for free available from  trybooking.com/ZGOO
