Delve into the mysterious world of mycology with experts from the WA Naturalists Club...
Did you know that fungi are neither plants nor animals; they belong to their own distinct kingdom!
Dr Laurton Mcgurk and Roz Hart will be giving a visual presentation on mycology and the unique and bizarre characteristics of fungi, then will lead a fungi foray (investigative walk) around parts of Herdsman Lake to find some local species! When you return to the centre, create some delightful toadstool crafts to take home.
Tickets also include full access to the Discovery Centre.
COST: $15 per participant, $25 for a discounted sibling (2 pax) ticket. Parents and carers are free of charge.
WHAT TO BRING: We encourage you to bring a hat, waterbottle, covered shoes or gumboots, and clothing suitable for wet weather.
