Frog Fest:  31st August, 14th September & 28th September , 12th October, 2012  (6.30 pm- 8.00 pm)
Wind down at the end of the week with a sausage sizzle, and let the family enjoy themselves in learning about the watery world of frogs in their own backyard.  Experience a spotlight adventure through the swamp in search of our green friends.  Approx 2 hrs, BYO torch.  ($10.00/person, 0-3yrs free) – Bookings essential

Bat Box Making Workshop:  11th August, (10 am-12 noon). Go Batty with Bats: Learn about what bats are in your own neighbourhood and make your own bat-box to attract bats in your own backyard. Raptors & Rockets: The Science of Flight :  15th & 16th August (10 am-12.00 noon)  Examine the wings of a range of live eagles/hawks, then observe the flight of our resident Swamp Harrier. Stop the Toad Evening : 17th August (6.30pm-8.30pm)  A frog education evening with Dr Paul Doughty Curator – Herpetology, WA Museum.   Includes Sausage Sizzle, slide show, cane toad identification and impact, then armed with torches do a night stalk searching for our native frogs on our swamp boardwalk.
